Know Taormina...

We live in Taormina since we were born and these informations will help you to better understand the structure of our lovely town...

First of all you have to know that the the centre of Taormina is not near the sea.  The town is on a hill and the sea can be reached or by car or by the funicular.  Of course, especially in summer, to take the car to reach the beaches can be very stressing because of the heat, traffic and so on.  Therefore, the best way to reach the sea is the funicular which costs 3,50 eur/person - you can anyway reduce this cost with a weekly payment.

Taorminaholidays is the only one that provides these informations because we really want you to have a pleasant stay in our lovely town.

PARKING:

there are very few apartments which provide parking...  Taormina has its main parking at the entrance of the town...
